Hyundai Motor Group breaks ground in Georgia for electric vehicle factory
Ground was broken Tuesday for Hyundai Motor Group’s $5.54 billion electric vehicle (EV) factory in Georgia. The facility will be the largest Korean automaker’s first U.S. plant dedicated to making EVs. The groundbreaking ceremony was held Tuesday in Georgia, about six months earlier than originally anticipated as the U.S. passed the Inflation Reduction Act.
